Trip Plan & Itinerary

Day 1 Singapore - Chitose - Sapporo

  • Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for our flight to Hokkaido via Tokyo.



  • Upon arrival ,transfer to APA hotel for check-in.

Day 2 Sapporo



  • This morning, we proceed to the Sapporo Morning Fish Market where different types of fish are on sale.




  • Proceed to Asahi Beer Factory to witness the beer production process and sample some beer before we have a photo-stop at the White Chocolate Factory.




  • Continue our journey to Otaru and visit Kitaichi Glass Shop, reputed for its unique lamps and hand-blown glassware. Standing next to the shop is the Otaru Music Box Museum, where we can see beautifully crafted music boxes and enjoy heavenly music.




  • Thereafter proceed to Mt Tengu. Board a cable ride to the top of the mountain to enjoy the panaromic view of the city skyline.




Day 3 Sapporo – Furano – Sounkyo









  • Begin today’s tour with a leisurely drive to Furano, located in central Hokkaido, we make a stop at Furano Cheese Factory which produces a large number of delicious cheeses along with cheese and dairy related products. We can witness the production of the cheeses and can even take part in a butter making lesson.




  • Then continue to visit Furano Wine Factory where we get to observe their original wine-making process as they produce many different types of fruit wines and can even get to sample the wines.




  • Next, we proceed to visit Tomita Farm, one of Hokkaido’s premier flower farms. It has a number of large fields of various flower types, including Poppies, French Marigolds, and many more. The most famous image of the farm is that of the ‘rainbow field’ created by planting rows of different flowers along the gentle rolling hills. Along with the fields, the farm has cafes, ice cream venders selling delicious lavender ice cream, gift shops, a dried flower shop and a potpourri shop.




  • Continue our journey to Sounkyo Gorge, situated in Mt Daisetsuzan National Park. This gorge consists of many 100-m-tall cliffs and is popular for its numerous waterfalls; Ryusei-no-taki Falls and Ginga-no-taki Falls,also known as Shooting Star Falls and Milky Way Falls respectively.





Day 4 Sounkyo – Lake Toya









  • This morning, we proceed to visit Shiraoi Ainu Village for an insight into the Ainu lifestyle through displays of precious heirlooms and household utensils, traditional embroidery and exhibits on Ainu song and dance.




  • Continue to Mt Showa. This interesting mountain was thrust up from flat farmland after two years of volcanic activity.




  • Next, we visit Lake Toya which is an ice-free lake. It never freezes even in winter when the temperature falls quite drastically. The beauty of this northernmost ice-free lake can thereforebe admired anytime throughout the year.




  • During the summer months of April to October, we can also enjoy spectacular fireworks displays*.




Day 5 Lake Toya – Otaru – Sapporo









  • After breakfast, proceed for some shopping at Reira Factory Outlet, various brands for your shopping leisure.




  • Then continue to have a photo-stop at the Tokeidai Clock Tower. This rather diminutive building has become Sapporo’s symbol, because it is the oldest building still standing.





Day 6 Sapporo – Chitose – Narita









  • In the morning, transfer by domestic flight to Haneda.




  • Upon arrival, board a coach for a city tour of Tokyo.




  • Begin our tour in Ginza,Tokyo’s most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district.




  • Up next is Odaiba Park, where we can take photos of the famous Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.




  • In the evening, enjoy Tokyo’s famous nightlife in Shinjuku.





Day 7 Narita - Singapore









  • After breakfast, spend some time free at leisure until we transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore.
